These terms apply to work carried out by PJ Window & Gutter Cleaning Services ("we", "us", "our") based in Hockley, Essex. By booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and pricing
- Quotes are free and given with no obligation.
- A quote is based on the information you give us and what we can see. If the job turns out to be significantly different (for example, much heavier soiling or restricted access), we will discuss any change in price with you before continuing.
- Prices are for the specific work agreed. Additional work is quoted separately.
Bookings and access
- Please make sure we can safely access the areas to be cleaned, including gates, side access and any taps or power where needed.
- If we cannot gain access at the agreed time through no fault of ours, we may need to rearrange and a call-out charge may apply.
- Please let us know in advance of anything we should be aware of, such as pets, alarms, fragile fittings or recently painted surfaces.
Our work
- We take care to carry out every job to a high standard and to look after your property.
- Window cleaning uses a purified-water system. With this method, glass is left to dry naturally and is at its best once fully dry.
- Gutter clearing removes accessible debris. Where a downpipe is blocked internally or a gutter is damaged, we will let you know, as this may need separate work.
- Older, worn or already-damaged surfaces, sealant, paint or fittings may not respond as hoped, and pre-existing faults can become more visible once an area is clean. We will point out anything we notice but cannot be responsible for the condition of materials before we start.
Payment
- Payment is due on completion of the work, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- We will let you know the payment methods we accept when you book.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or rearrange, please let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.
If something is not right
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not happy with any part of the work, please tell us within 24 hours of the job and we will do our best to put it right.
Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or for issues arising from the condition of the property or fittings before we started.
Weather
We work in most conditions, but we may rearrange a visit if the weather makes work unsafe or unsuitable. We will let you know if this happens.
